A little sewing, a little crafting, a lot of life.

When you don't hear from me for awhile it's not because we are not doing anything interesting, it's actually that we are doing too much........

I've sewn up over 30 things this month.........

The boys have been busy helping daddy with woodworking crafts and house renovations........

We took in an injured wild bird.........

I found time to dress up and do my hair..........

Daddy taught the boys the importance of helping others and headed out to help some stranded boaters......

And we've enjoyed the "every days".........

Knitted Vest for the Little One

I've had my hands busy with a few knitting projects lately.  Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to show you Madeline's Spring vest because it's been more like summer around here. I finally took advantage of a somewhat cool afternoon to see how it fit her.

I love it on her!  It matches her busy running around the homestead personality.

The yarn is an natural alpaca yarn and the pattern is from  Ravelry .  It was a super easy pattern!  I got my inspiration from Tricia at home made happy.  She knits up some beautiful things for her family!  I do however think this will be going back in the closet until fall.  I'm not complaining.  The unusually warm weather has given us the opportunity to get a lot done in the garden and everything is in full bloom so we have lots of yummy treats to eat.  We will also be spending the day at the beach tomorrow, so thank you Lord for warm weather and homeschooling!
