Little Girls Room Renovation.

We finally started baby girls room renovation. This is very past due and, if I'm being honest, I would have put it off longer if others in the family were not so motivated. I dreamed of being the mother to my sweet girl and decorating her room but life is busy!  It's too late to go back now however so I'm moving forward and this room when done is going to be amazing!

Designer Selection Vintage Ditsy Floral Wallpaper Teal / Pink

I started removing the wallpaper and realized it was going to take way too long so now I'm having bead board installed along the bottom half and I will re-wallpaper the top. I found this fabulous wallpaper online. I'm not a huge fan of wallpaper but I can see this working perfect with the look I'm going for.

The old bed.

I replaced her Pottery Barn Kids bed that was the boys with a vintage cast iron bed. My mother in law purchased the sweet vintage table to the left and I have 1 more vintage bedside table picked out. All 3 will be painted but I'm not sure what color yet.

A window seat with storage is being built-in under the bay window. She has a beautiful view of the water and backyard so I'm so excited to have a special place put in for her to enjoy that view and read. All of the trim and base boards will be updated to match the rest of the renovated rooms in the house.  She will finally be getting doors too!  This room did not come with doors when we bought the house for some reason.

We want to surprise Madeline on her 3rd birthday with an amazing room so the count down begins. I have some extra surprises planned for her and I'm praying we can put it all together in time! Pin It
