Anthro Clutch

Here is the rest of the Anthropologie place mat I used to make the Leather and Jute Belt for belt week over at A Lemon Squeezy Home.  I came in 2nd place!  Yea!  The prize was 2 Amy Butler patterns.  Thanks Christie!  I'm hoping they will help me get motivated to start making Christmas gifts!  I'm totally procrastinating.  The 1st place and 3rd place belts were awesome!  You can check them out here.

So I had enough of the place mat left over to put together this clutch.

I love the way it turned out!  It's very rich and earthly looking.  Some of these photos don't do it justice.

I took apart some of the jute and made 3 flowers.  They are hand sewed and I added a drop of E6000 because I know how rough us women can be on our purses.

The liner is some scrap fabric left over from last year.  It is from Heather Bailey's Nicey Jane collection.  I love all the fabric it that collection!

I'm going to be lowering my prices on etsy.  I went through my sewing supplies and found an entire basket of clutch frames.  I want to clear out some supplies and hopefully make someones Christmas brighter with a beautiful, affordable clutch!  The extra funds this time of year won't hurt either.  I've lowered the price to $28.00!  It will probably take me a few days however to get things listed on etsy.

Anyone else selling handmade Holiday gifts on etsy?

  1. I'm "trying" to sell some handmade necklaces. NOTHING compared to these beautiful clutches. I am trying to sale what's left of my inventory. I just don't have time to make them anymore after having my son. My etsy name is Journey of Jewels.
